Ask The Geeky Girls -
~AtomHeartKnitter who is Misty from Indiana asks:
Hey Geeky Girls, my question is, Has the Scottish vocabulary had an effect on your own & have you caught yourself speaking w a Scottish accent at all??? I ask this cause my family is originally from Illinois & they moved to TN, & after living there for 17+ yrs my sisters have attained a southern accent… My brother who was born in TN & has lived there his whole life has a Northern accent (which is weird) cause of my parents northern accents… I find it, almost, intriguing when a person’s accent can change just from their surroundings… What’s really funny is when my sisters get around us northern accented ppl they have a slight tendency to lose their southern accents, or it’s a blend of the two…

~If you have a question you'd like us to answer, please post it in the Ask the Geeky Girls thread in our Ravelry Group
