Ask The Geeky Girls -
~groundedstitches who is Pam from Sacramento, CA asks:
Hello! This question is for both of you. My cousin will be visiting Edinburgh Scotland, in few weeks. She and her family plan to travel around Scotland and hike a bit. She knows I knit, but does not knit or craft herself, yes I am working to convert her. She would like to bring me back something. She originally thought a Shetland sheep would be good idea but then decided customs would scoff. So, she asked me what I wanted. I have never been to Scotland so I didn’t know what to ask for. I told her I would ask you two, being as you two are the Experts in Residence of all things knit-craft related. At least as far as my connections go. So what I would like to know is, what would be a natural fiber craft something that would be quintessential Scotland? Favorite Yarn? Fiber for spinning? Unique tools? Knitting toys?

~We mention Ginger Twist Studio

~If you have a question you'd like us to answer, please post it in the Ask the Geeky Girls thread in our Ravelry Group
