Ask the Geeky Girls -
Dixie (desz72) from Alabama asks:
When I was in college, one of my history teachers taught on various armed forces bases around the world. One of the things she mentioned was when she had time off base she would go places and play “Spot the Tourist”. Have you guys done so yet or are you still the tourists when you are out and about?
Every region has a slightly different dialect/manners etc. besides the use of wee (which is what I’ve noticed) are you picking up and becoming integrated into the region?
~If you have a question for us, post it in the Ask the Geeky Girls thread on Ravelry.
