Ask the Geeky Girls -
Taryn (tmariechickadee) from Oregon asks:
I have a question regarding what to do with left over worsted weight yarn. I am currently working a Bee Keeper’s Quilt, like Damaris, and it has been great to use up left over fingering weight skeins, but I’m at a loss for the small amount of worsted weight that I always seem to have. The amounts that I currently have are enough to that it would be terrible to even think about throwing them away, but not enough to make a stand alone project. Does anyone have any ideas on scrappy projects for worsted weight yarn? I definitely wanting to use every last bit of the beautiful yarn that I have.

We mention:
Charity Hats: Top Down Preemie Hat by C.C. Almon | Scrap-happy Celebration Hat by Cosette Cornelius-Bates | Ellen's Knit Hat by Ellen Harpin
Blankets: Frankie Brown’s Ten Stitch Collection | Bee In A Bonnet Scrap Afghan by Krystal Nadrutach | Learn to Knit a Log Cabin Blanket by Staci Perry

Misc. -

~Reminder - Morgan (morg235) of One Hook Double Stitch http://OneHookDoubleStitch.etsy.com sent a skein of her yarn in the Unicorn Tail colourway. To enter to win, visit Morgan’s shop and then come back to this thread and tell us which colourway of yarn is your favourite. In addition, Morgan gave us a coupon code, GEEKY10, for 10% off until the end of January. We’ll keep this thread open for 3 weeks (since it’s over the holidays) and will announce the winner in Episode 174.
