Ask the Geeky Girls -
Yvonne (Mamamia64) from Canada asks:
I know you ladies attend a lot of fibre-related festivals but have you thought of attending any “geek” related conventions /festivals in your area? Is that something on your wish list? Maybe Dami can go to one in your area for an arts/culture field trip for school, lol! I think the big Star Wars Celebration is in London this year. : )

I’ve been to FanExpo Canada in Toronto with my family a few times and loved it. I don’t think it’s as huge as ComicCon in the States but it’s growing more and more every year. I’ve noticed a few smaller conventions popping up in my area (southern Ontario, Canada) lately, too. It’s so inspiring to see people with the same passions all in one place and getting their geek on, so to speak! Such talent in the indy artists and not just the pros. Some of the indy vendors have knit and crochet items if you look hard enough, too!

Review/Giveaway -

~Penguin: a Knit Collection by Anna Maltz - £18.50 for print/digital

~Winner announced - eBook copy of my Coffee With C.C. ~ A 7 Pattern Caffeine Inspired Knitting Collection and a skein of Strawberries and Cream yarn from Knitting in France. If you win and have already bought my book, you’ll get the yarn and I'll gift the eBook to a person of your choosing.

Misc. -
~Episode 187 will be recorded on Friday, 8-April, and will go live on Saturday, 9-April.

Reminder - 52 Weeks of Charity KAL - all the details in the Ravelry group and the 2nd podcast of every month
