Ask the Geeky Girls -
Jenni (JenniFerReals) from Missouri asks:
How accurate is the quantity of yarn suggested for any given pattern when you use the yarn suggested in the pattern?
When you make a sweater, do you buy the number of skeins suggested? Is it enough or do you end up with gobs of yarn left over? My heart doesn’t trust the designer, so I’m wanting to buy the suggested amount, plus one skein just in case.
What do you do?
What do others in the GGK group do?
