Ask the Geeky Girls -
Katy (Kathryn-Anne) from Pennsylvania asks:
I am fascinated at how adept you both are at knitting and chatting at the same time without looking down at your project. I imagine that if you were to add chewing gum and riding a unicycle to the mix, you’d still not drop a stitch! How do you do it?

Ask the Geeky Girls -
Jorunn (FjordLord) from Norway asks:
Hi Geeky Girls! I was wondering if you have any thoughts on different knitting styles and how you wrap the yarn around when you knit. The way I learnt to knit as a child, is what I understand is called continental style knitting. This is where you hold the yarn with your left hand, over your left index finger, and use your right needle to “hook” the yarn and then pull it through. The only time I knit while wrapping yarn around using my right hand is when I do colour work. On the occasions where we can see you actually knitting on your podcast, it seems that you might be knitting the wrap-around-style, and that has always seemed to me to be a (sorry) slower way of doing it. Have you tried other styles of knitting, or have you any other thoughts on this? What do you think are the pros and cons of knitting this way or the other?
