Ask The Geeky Girls -

~Sundaisy920 who is Angie from Texas asks:
You and Damaris are going to spend the next three months on a deserted island….what five books and five TV shows (or movies) would y’all take to watch/read? :D Yes, this deserted island does have electricity. ;) anything that requires you to breaking or cutting the yarn. I understand the concept but am slightly confused (again I know!).

Books: The Chronicles of Narnia, The Complete Harry Potter Collection, The Inheritance Cycle, The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion, The Complete Sherlock Holmes, The Divergent Series, The River of Time Series, Magnificent Devices Series, The Outlander Series, The Hunger Games Trilogy
TV/Movies: Classic Doctor Who + New Doctor Who, BBC Sherlock, Elementary, Marvel Cinematic Universe, The Chronicles of Narnia Movies, Harry Potter Series, LOST, Gilmore Girls, Joss Whedon's Works, Indiana Jones Series

  1. Wow I am almost caught up!!!!! I have watched over 70 of your podcasts in 7 days. I hope to be caught up by your new podcast tomorrow. Damaris your socks are wonderful. I went to our local yarn store today since it was my sisters birthday and bought her a set of needles. She was sooooooo pleased. I own a set of Knitters Pride Karbonz, but I got my sister the ChiaoGoo set and she is in love. I noticed you had an issue with them but they resolved it so I had no problem purchasing them. Well Damaris never ceases to amaze... what lovely socks. I just purchased some Futsies yarn for socks. It is 50 % wool, 25 % Soysilk, 22.5 % cotton, and 2.5 % chitin which is fiber from shrimp and crab shells!!! It's naturally antibacterial!!! Interesting huh!?! I wonder if I will ever have to wash them!! LOL So long for now!!!
