Ask the Geeky Girls -
Cristy (cristyray) from Colorado asks:
Hi C.C. I have noticed that it has been awhile since you have mentioned anything health related. I was wondering how the treatment you are receiving in Scotland has differed from any treatment you had received in the US. What, if anything has made the biggest difference in your ability to move towards a more “normal” life? You are always so cheerful and happy, you give me hope that a battle with fibromyalgia does not mean an end to joy. You are an inspiration.
~If you have a question for us, post it in the Ask the Geeky Girls thread on Ravelry.
Misc. -
Edinburgh Yarn Festival - Saturday 14-March-2015 + Sunday 15-March-2015 at Edinburgh Corn Exchange
Giveaway Details: 1 prize of 2 weekend tickets to Edinburgh Yarn Festival, we’ll leave the giveaway open for 3 weeks and announce the winner on episode 128 (Wednesday, 18-February-2015), answer the question in the thread in the Ravelry thread, tell us what vendor from EYF you would most like to visit http://www.edinyarnfest.com/whos-coming
~KatyKittyJay from the UK has some 9” circulars (The needles are 9” addis, there are two 2.25mm and two 3.5mm) that she’d love to gift to someone as well as some yarn she’d love to gift to people who are crafting for charity (the yarn is in her for trade or sale tab in her stash, but she doesn’t want money for them). It’d be better shipping wise to send it within the UK, but if you’re outside the UK, chat with her to see if you can work things out together. Send her a PM to talk to her about these things.
~Outlander KAL is on-going; hashtags are #countdowntooutlander and #kiltmenowKAL; There is a thread in our group for questions, planning, and encouraging each other.
